Ok enough is enough! Now the system is just picking on these people. I mean maybe grandma shouldn't have been drinking but all they can find is to ticket the guy for unmade repairs to his car. Gimme a break!

    Too bad, so sad!

Do I have this straight?  The drunken grandmother was heading to court with them to see if the children would be released to her custody, if they were not returned to the parents?  Are they kidding?  Wow, talk about the scum on the bottom of the gene pool!

Ya...at ten a.m....drunk...and SHE was going to have the kids released in her custody.
Lea..What has to happen before you will realize these kids are better off out of that home? If it were up to me, the case would be over and the parents would be facing abuse charges simply because of the choices of names. So obvious that these kids are being mentally abused.
Oh, but wait...Here comes Grammy Eva Braun to the rescue! Oops..she fell down..drunk again..oh well.

But, it was grandma drunk in the backseat, not Heath, Deborah said. She was headed to court with the couple in hopes the three children would be released to her if the parents could not gain custody.

Drunk in the backseat of the car on the way to court at 10 am?!?  Really Lea-392690, you want to take up the defense of these people?  Are you related to them?  Is there a single thing that the parents or this grandmother has done so far that shows they have any interest in the well being of the kids?  No!

Perhaps they are just stupid, but what they have demonstrated in their actions including the names they have given their children, is that they have nothing but contempt for society, and no more than contempt for their own kids.

If you are older than 12 Lea, you should be able to give a little thought about what kind of parents these are and perhaps understand why the children were removed.  As a matter of fact most 12 year olds should be able to understand this.

True, Theresa. Twelve year olds would realize this too. That is, unles they are raised by parents such as the Campbells.

Not defending the "I'm not a white supremest but I REALLY like their symbols" family but tickets for failure to make mechanical repairs to your car...

      ummm..ya? Whats your point, teach?
That has happened to me before. Sometimes cops will go out of their way to make your life more difficult, regardless of any prior suspicions. I once had a cop hold me up for close to an hour. After going over every possible infraction, of which he found none, while coming back to hand me a warning for 'erratic driving' (says I crossed a line), he noticed my license plate light was out. "Do you know your license plate light is out, Sir?" Fed up with the waste of time by this point I unthinkingly burst out with "Yeah! I know it!'.
      Wrote me a ticket.
So, I'm not sure I understand your defense point having anything to do with the ticket for failure to repair.

There are certain requirements on a car for it to be legal to drive, for instance turn signals, brake lights, fenders.... etc etc....  The cop may or may not have had reason to ticket the driver.

However, the article clearly states that the DRUNK woman in the back seat was ther grandmother to the children, and that SHE was going to court to try and get custody of these children just incase they were not released to the mother.

Now tell me how anyone can defend a person who cannot even sober up for ONE DAY to gain custody of their grandchildren?   Why would she think or the parents think that any court would grant custody of children to a person who is DRUNK at ten o'clock IN THE MORNING!

And, why would a court consider releasing children to parents who would present a drunk grandmother as a credible guardian?

These people are not only racist..theyre ignorant.

      theyre ignorant.

That is a kind assessment.  I would lean more toward "stupid" to describe them.
